Week of December 6, 2009

Sometime between the hours of 8:30 PM and 9:20 PM on November 29, 2009 an unknown person or persons committed burglary at Keller Outdoor Power (483 N. Main Street).  During the commission of the crime, the thief(s) tore or cut away metal skirting and metal surrounding the building, ripped into drywall and made entry. The crooks made away with excess of $33,000 worth of lawn and landscape equipment. It is believed there were several people invloved in the crime because of the amount of stolen property.  The Keller Police Department currently has no leads on this crime and would like your assistance. Week of December 6, 2009

Sometime between the hours of 6:00 PM on November 26, 2009 and 11:00 AM on December 1, 2009, an unknown person committed theft and criminal mischief at the Keller Lion’s Club (501 Keller Parkway).  During the commission of the theft, the thief cut power lines to remove a meter box, copper wiring and the breaker switches. All the copper wiring was removed and taken, even what was buried in the ground and encased in conduit. In addition two air condition units were stripped and taken from the Lion’s Club at the same time. The thief(s) broke a large light used to illuminate the air conditioning units, granting them the cover of darkness.  The amount of the loss and damage is estimated at over $6,000.00. The Keller Police Department currently has no leads on this crime and would like your assistance.
